A total of 21 goals were scored in 12 matches of the first day of the Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup, with host region, Omaheke recording the biggest win. The host region, Omaheke defeated Karas 3-0 in their first encounter of the day before returning to close off the day’s proceedings with a 1-0 win over Erongo.
