The Hollywoodbets Cosafa Women’s Championship held its draw for the 2023 Championship earlier today in South Africa, the annual tournament will be staged in South Africa, Gauteng from 4- 14 October 2023.
The Brave Gladiators have been drawn in Group C alongside, Botswana, Zimbabwe and Lesotho.
Speaking on the draw, Brave Gladiators Head Coach said the group looks exciting.
“It is definitely not an easy group; we are placed with Botswana and Lesotho who have been doing well at this tournament and then there is the return of Zimbabwe, but I can only comment on my team, and they have been preparing well for the past weeks. The team is currently focusing on the WAFCON Qualifiers against Gambia which will also serve as preparation for the COSAFA.”
The Gladiators will depart to Morocco on Saturday,16 September for 𝙒𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙣’𝙨 𝘼𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝘾𝙪𝙥 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙚𝙧𝙨 (𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙣𝙚). The first match between Gambia vs Namibia is on 21 September while the 2nd Leg will be on the 24 September, both matches will take place in Morocco.
