Warriors must win-Kaanjuka

The Brave Warriors will have to win the encounter against Malawi on Saturday or jeopardise their 2014 World Cup CAF Group F campaign.

These are the sentiments of Coach Bernard Kaanjuka who stress that the Brave Warriors match on Saturday at 17h00, Independence Stadium against the Flames of Malawi is very crucial for the future of Namibia in the race for Brazil 2014.

Brave Warriors acting-coach Bernard Kaanjuka has released a 24-man squad list in preparations for the Warriors clash against Malawi on March 23 in the 2014 FIFA world Cup Qualifiers match in Windhoek.

Warriors in Biokinetic Test

With the Brave Warriors to host Malawi on 23 March, local-based Warriors went through a Biokinetic testing at the NFA Technical Centre.

According to the acting head coach of the Brave Warriors Bernard Kaanjuka, 21 local players underwent the test on Tuesday and Wednesday at the NFA Technical Centre to detect any injuries and allow the Technical team to make informed decision on their inclusion for future national team duties.

Foreign legion good for Warriors

The Brave Warriors will benefit a lot from its foreign legion, believes acting coach Benhard Kaanjuka.

Kaanjuka was commenting on the situation where seven of the current Brave Warriors squad are now plying their trades in the Premier Soccer league of South Afrcia and two more are based in Thailand.

Three Brave Warriors players, Virgil Vries, Willem Mwedihanga and Petrus Shitembi signed for Maritzburg United, Amazulu and Amatuks respectively this week after agreeing to personal terms with the South African Premier Soccer League(PSL) clubs.
