Warriors Gaffer, Collin Benjamin said they expect a physically demanding and tactical match as they kickstart their 2024 Hollywoodbets COSAFA Cup campaign against neighboring Angola on 28 June at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

“We are aware of the challenge, Angola is a good team, physically and tactically but looking at the players we have and the work that we have done over the last couple of days, I believe we are standing a good chance of doing well, even though it’s not going to be easy,”

Benjamin said it is important for his side to settle down very quickly and make sure that they keep the ball possession and create as many goal-scoring opportunities as possible and convert them.

“We need maximum concentration, and it is important for us as a team that each one is aware of their duties and tasks because we function best as a unit. We are fit, we are focused, and we want to have a good start to the match, so we build confidence early on.

No injuries have been reported and all the players are eager and willing to represent Namibia to the best of their ability.
