The Warriors arrived safely in Polokwane,South Africa ahead of their second leg fixture against Equatorial Guinea on 24 March 2025 at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

“After a full day of travel yesterday, our focus was on optimizing recovery and reducing residual fatigue in today’s session. The squad was split into two groups, with myself overseeing the starting XI” said Garren Smith.

“The session began with a low-intensity recovery run to enhance circulation and facilitate metabolic waste removal. This was followed by mobility and flexibility drills to restore range of motion and alleviate stiffness.

Next, we incorporated neuromuscular activation and injury prevention exercises to re-engage key movement patterns. The session progressed into dynamic movement flows to promote coordination and proprioception”

He further added “ to maintain technical sharpness, we concluded with passing drills in pairs, finishing with a football tennis competition to encourage light movement, cognitive engagement, and team cohesion”
