223 April 2026 – The much-anticipated Standard Bank Top 8 draw was officially conducted yesterday at the Standard Bank Headquarters in Windhoek, setting up a series of thrilling fixtures for Namibia’s premier knockout competition.
Football fans can look forward to an exciting lineup of matches as the country’s top clubs battle it out for supremacy. The draw produced the following first-round fixtures:
- Eleven Arrows FC vs African Stars FC
- FC Ongos vs KK Palace FC
- Eeshoke Chula Chula FC vs Mighty Gunners
- UNAM FC vs Blue Waters FC
The tournament will kick off in Swakopmund, with the first round scheduled to take place at Vineta Stadium from 2–3 May. The competition will then move to Outjo for the second round on 9 May, before culminating in the grand finale in Windhoek on 23 May.
With matches set across multiple towns, the tournament promises to bring high-energy football action closer to fans across the country, creating a vibrant atmosphere both on and off the pitch.
