The interim General secretatry, Jochen Traut, at the opening ceremony of the NFA C – License coaching course of the Southern Stream First Division (SSFD) honored- retired footballer and sports editor, Carlos Kambaekwa with its Legend award.

Kambaekwa was pleasantly surprised to be conferred with this award that he did not even know the NFA considered him a candidate for this great honor. “I was simply invited to attend the opening ceremony of the NFA C-License coaching course of the Southern Stream First Division (SSFD) at the Football house, not having not had an idea of what the program was about, I was completely flabbergasted by the honor and recognition NFA bestowed upon me. I stepped forward to receive the NFA Legend Award with great humility”. the retired sports editor confessed.

NFA Interim General Secretary, Jochen Traut commended Kambaekwa for his great work as a sports journalist over the past years, shooting from the hip, from time to time.
