The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has officially announced the dates and venues for the highly anticipated 2025 First Division Promotion Play-Offs.
This announcement is in accordance with Rule 3, clause 3.2 of the NFA Regulations Governing the Method to Promote & Relegate Clubs to-&-from NFA leagues, which mandates that member clubs be informed in writing of the format, date, and venue at least three weeks prior to the play-offs.
Football fans across the country can mark their calendars for two action-packed weekends in August. The play-offs will take place on the 9th & 10th August and the 16th & 17th August 2025.
The venues for each First Division stream are as follows:
โขโ โ North West First Division: Grootfontein Town
โขโ โ North East First Division: Tsumeb Town
โขโ โ Southern Stream First Division: Mariental Town
These play-offs are a crucial part of the Namibian football calendar, determining which clubs will earn promotion from the second to the first division.
