28 February 2026 – Brave Gladiators captain Lovisa Mulunga is hopeful that her side will emerge victorious against South Africa in the final of the Hollywoodbets COSAFA Women’s Championship, set to take place at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, South Africa, on 1 March at 15:00.
A late goal by Juliana Blou secured a 1–0 victory for Namibia over Zambia, booking their place in the final of the regional women’s showpiece.

Speaking about the team’s readiness, the Gladiators skipper said they have analyzed the playing tactics of Banyana Banyana.
“It will most definitely not be an easy game because Banyana have cemented their place in African football. They have done exceptionally well in recent years, but we want this for ourselves, for the country, and for every girl child who wants to play football in Namibia.
The pressure is on them. We are simply going there to play, put in the work, and stick to the game plan as instructed by the technical bench,” she added.
