The Namibia Football Association Women’s Football Coordinator Justine Hamupolo attended the CAF Women’s Football Capacity Building Workshop which was held in Cairo, Egypt from 26-29 February.

The workshop was attended by 48 participants from 48 African countries and focused on empowering women in football leadership positions by providing comprehensive training and resources. It was aimed at supplying participants with the skills, strategies, confidence, and connections they need to excel in their careers and make a greater impact in the football industry.

“Women administrators matter because they provide a visible career pathway for young women to enter the football profession. The more women administrators we have, the more female players, coaches and referees we will have, and the more we are going to inspire and encourage the next generation of girls to come through and inspire the next crop, Hamupolo commented.

She also expressed her aspirations of sharing the knowledge and skills gained at the workshop with colleagues from NFA and relevant stakeholders.

The workshop was facilitated by: Thuba Sibanda, Simon Toselli- FIFA Women Football Technical Experts, Raul Chipenda, Meskerem Goshime and Muhammad F Sidat.
