The Namibia Football Association (NFA) has unveiled the final roster for the Futsal Gladiators, the nation’s women’s futsal team, as they prepare for their maiden voyage into the CAF Womenโ€™s Futsal Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). From 22nd to 30th April 2025, in Rabat, Morocco, these athletes will carry the hopes of a nation.

Their journey begins with a formidable challenge: a clash against host nation Morocco in the tournament’s opening match, scheduled for April 22nd at 20:00 at the iconic Complexe Sportive Moulay-Abdellah. The group stage culminates with a showdown against Cameroon on 26th April, at the same venue.

Behind this momentous occasion lies months of dedicated preparation. The Futsal Gladiators 5 are currently immersed in an intensive training camp, sharpening their skills and forging an unbreakable team spirit. To further refine their strategies, two crucial friendly matches are planned in Morocco this April, serving as a final test before the continental stage.

The final squad, a blend of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, reflects the team’s unwavering ambition for a strong debut. Head Coach Donawald Modise, praised the team’s readiness, emphasizing the meticulous selection process and comprehensive training regimen.
