The National Junior Men’s Team affectionately known as the Young Warriors will assemble for a one-week training camp on Monday,8 July 2024 at the Football House in Katutura.

Speaking to NFA Media on the team selection and camp, Head Coach James Britz said

“The team is set to play in the u20 COSAFA Cup in September which serves as a qualifier for the U20 Total Energies AFCON Cup which is slated for February 2025. We are hoping to qualify for the second time for the youth continental showpiece and preparations are key.

Most of the players were selected at the Nedbank Namibian Newspaper Cup held in Gobabis earlier this year and the focus of the training camp is to analyze the players and trim the team down to thirty players for the official training camp which will be held in August 2024″
