The Brave Gladiators have arrived in Botswana as preparations intensify for their upcoming CAF Women’s Olympic Qualifiers against Angola.
The Namibian senior women’s national team arrived in Botswana early today and will use the camp as an important part of their preparations for the crucial encounter against Angola on 9 & 12 October.
As part of their build-up, the Gladiators are scheduled to play two international friendly matches against Botswana’s Mares on 26 and 30 September at the Independence Stadium in Gaborone.
In the absence of head coach Lucky Kakuva, the assistant coach Juliass Simbombo will take charge of the team for both friendly encounters and oversee the squad’s preparations during the Botswana camp.
The two matches will provide the technical team with an opportunity to assess the squad, fine-tune tactical preparations ahead of the Olympic qualifying campaign.
