Fresh from three wins and one defeat in the Hardap Second Division, Bee Bob Brothers will have no excuses in their 2017 Debmarine Namibia Cup Last-16 encounter against Young Chiefs at the Mariental Sport Stadium on Saturday.

This is according to head coach Raymond Lollipop Awaseb whose side is raring to take on their much fancied opponents from Oshakati Young Chiefs who occupies Namibia Premier league status.

Awaseb reckons the Debmarine Namibia Cup Last-16 draw was a fair affair and they can’t wait to strut their stuff against Chiefs.

“It was an equal good draw for us. We can match them on the field and we draw confidence from the fact that we play league football and have well thus far and we have been going about our business very well. Come Saturday we aim to prevail and make history for our beloved Brothers”, says Awaseb.

The former Brothers, Blue Waters and Ramblers player, Awaseb also counts on the home ground support to see them through and reveals that Mariental people are hungry for high level football.

“We don’t have a Premier league side in Mariental for a long time and for the people here, Saturday programme is a blessing in disguise and we are happy to have brought it along. We represent this town and the team is for the people and they are excited about the prospect of seeing the team in action at this level and even further then this. This club is the pride of Mariental”, Awaseb states.

Action in Mariental will start at 11h00 as Outjo FC and Eastern Chiefs faceoff for a place in the quarterfinals. At 13h00, Civics and Young Beauties will meet and two hours later Young Chiefs and Bee Bob Brothers will take to the field for their battle. The final match of the round and of the day will be at 17h00 as Young African and Life Fighters clash at the Mariental Sports Stadium.
