Omusati Region and Erongo Region will meet in the final match of the 2017 Skorpion Zinc under-17 Cup at the Sam Nujoma stadium on Sunday, 13h00 after they defeated Kavango West and Kavango East respectively in the semifinals on Sunday morning.

Omusati region will face Kavango West in the first semifinal of the 2017 Skorpion Zinc under-17 Cup as they beat Kunene 2-0 to finish top of Group A and Erongo defeated Khomas 1-0 to finish on nine points and will meet groupmate Kavango East who beat Ohangwena 2-1 to finish on eight points.

Kavango West are through to the first semifinal of the 2017 Skorpion Zinc under-17 Cup as they topped Group C , Omusati and Kunene meet for the decider in Group A while Erongo needs a draw to win Group B after Khomas lost to Kavango east on Saturdays afternoon .

Brave Gladiators captain Uerikondjera Mammie Kasaona hopes the team will do better than the last two editions of COSAFA Women Championships they competed in when they participate in the 2017 COSAFA Women’s Championship, Bulawayo, Zimbabwe from September 13-24.

Kasaona who has been captain of the Gladiators since 2012 says the ladies plans on doing better than in 2006 and 2008 and she personally intends to leave good legacy.
