The Brave Warriors received a warm welcome at the Football House in Katutura earlier today, the COSAFA silver winning team was received by the Deputy Minister of Sports, Youth and National Services, Her Honorable Dr Emma Kantema- Goamas.
Speaking at the welcoming presser, the Deputy Minister thanked the team for the outstanding performance.
“I stand here on behalf of the government; we remain proud and take pride in your achievements. The team started on a high note and the semi-final match was the highlight of the tournament for me. The team displayed character and Kamaijanda Ndisiro demonstrated what being a brave nation is all about.
She further applauded Collin Benjamin and his technical bench on giving the young players a chance to showcase their talent
“When the competition started, we all had reservations on the new players, but I was excited to see the young boys taking up space and giving it their all at the regional tournament.
The Warriors will have dinner at the State House at 18H00, Tuesday 9 July 2024.
