The Brave Warriors’ new faces,Bonifasius Josef,Sisqo Haraseb and Tuafeni David are eager to make a name for themselves and represent the country when they take on Malawi at the Bingu National Stadium at 18H00 on Thursday,20 March 2025.
“It’s a learning curve,you get to learn from players who have more than fifty caps for the national team,who played at major competitions and having a coach as Coach Collin Benjamin is inspiring,he was a few of the Namibian players to ply his trade in Europe and this experience is invaluable” said the solid Mighty Gunners defensive lineman.

He adds that he hopes to make his debut for the Braves.
“This is my first national team call up and I’m still learning.It’s a big team with a lot of talent and experienced players who started playing for the country at junior levels and I’m just here to contribute to the overall success of the squad and if I do make the team, that will be a huge step for me and I’m ready”
Tuafeni David is no stranger to the national team setup. He was part of the U20 squad who made their maiden appearance at the 2019 U20 African Cup of Nations in Mauritania. This is his first Brave Warriors call up and he is excited about the possibility of wearing the jersey.
“This is not like the junior teams,the setup is more professional and the training is more intense. I’m excited to be here and to learn from the professional players” said the Blue Waters defender.

UNAM’s Defender,Bonifasius Josef made the provisional squad for last year’s AFCON Campaign but failed to make the final squad.
“Being part of the final squad is an honor,life is Brave Warriors is exciting,tough and the expectations are set quite high. I just want to prove myself and make sure that the team can count on me when the need arises” he said.

The match will take place on Thursday , 20 March 2025 at the Bingu National Stadium in Malawi. Kickoff is at 18H00 Namibian time.
