The Saudi Arabia Football Association through the NFA President, Robert Shimooshili donated Referee Kits to all 14 regions countrywide. Each region received four sets of refereeing kits and two whistles. The donation was distributed at the NFA Induction workshop for the 14 Regional Referee Chairpersons which was held over the weekend in Oshakati.
In addition to the kit handover, the NFA Referee Department gave the 12 FIFA Referees their badges.

“Uniformity is vital in professionalizing our referees. We applaud the NFA leadership for the continuous support they have shown, the referee department continues to grow, we currently have 12 accredited FIFA referees and they have been making strides at regional and national tournaments. Last year in June, Antsino officiated at the Maurice Revello Tournament in France and this year she was called to officiate the CHAN Tournament that will take place in August. We have referees occasionally officiating the COSAFA games and the WAFCON and AFCON Qualifiers and that is a huge achievement for us ” he said.
