7 November 2025 – Brave Warriors Head Coach,Collin Benjamin and his team has named a 32- preliminary squad for a friendly match against Comoros.The Warriors will be coached by John Sikerete while Marley Ngarizemo serves as an assistant.
“John Sikerete has done well with Chula Chula since the team joined the Namibia Football Premier League (NPFL), he also coached the CHAN team for the qualifiers and we believe he is more than capable to take on the task again for the friendly encounter. We also appointed Marley, who is doing amazing work with Gobabis based team, Young African – he came in the NPFL and won the FA cup the same year, he recently competed in the CAF Conferedations Cup and these are the kind of coaches we need in the setup said Warriors Head Coach, Collin Benjamin
Speaking on the team selection,Benjamin higlighted that the selection was done in consulation with both coaches.
“ The Warriors will be playing CHAN qualifiers next year and we need to start preparing a team that will be ready to compete. We had a conversation and looked at the players in the league and this is what we came up with.
Benjamin won’t be available for the friendly encounter because he will be attending a coaching workshop in South Africa.
Warriors face Islander side in Moroni, Comoros , on 14 & 17 November.
Players must report for camp on Monday,10 November at Soccer House at 08H00.
