On 5 November 2024, Debmarine Namibia and the Namibia Football Association (NFA) successfully concluded discussions, after which Debmarine Namibia agreed to exercise the option to extend the sponsorship agreement for the 2024/25 football league season.
The NFA and Debmarine Namibia are therefore delighted to announce the commencement of the Debmarine Namibia Premiership for the 2024/25 season, on Friday, 29 November 2024. Debmarine Namibia has once again committed to sponsor the Debmarine Namibia Premiership to the tune of N$18 million as per the terms of the sponsorship agreement.
In the face of a well-known challenging diamond market industry, it is crucial to highlight the positive impact of natural diamonds on communities, particularly in the context of the recommitment to sponsoring the premier league. The NFA and Debmarine Namibia invite all football-lovers, all small-and-medium enterprises selling food and beverages at football stadia to continue supporting the beautiful game with passion and by so doing contribute to the economic development of our country.
