NFA Executive Council member, Laurence Kandundu echoed the importance of developing coaches in the country.

“As we delve into this course, let’s keep in mind that football is ever evolving. The strategies, techniques, and approaches that were effective yesterday might not be as effective today. This is why it is crucial for us to stay updated with the latest trends, innovations, and best practices in the game. Our commitment to learning and adapting will not only improve our teams’ performance but also elevate the standard of football in our region.

I encourage each one of you to make the most of this opportunity. Engage actively, share your experiences, ask questions, and be open to new ideas. Remember, the essence of this refresher course is not just to refresh our existing knowledge but to challenge ourselves to be better, more informed, and more effective coaches he said

He expressed his gratitude to CAF Instructor, Steve Coetzee.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Steve Coetzee for his unwavering dedication to the development of football in Southern Africa. His guidance and mentorship are invaluable, and we are incredibly fortunate to learn from him. Let’s honor his legacy by giving our best, not just in this course but in every aspect of our coaching careers.
