25 September 2025 – Brave Warriors coach Collin Benjamin has named a 25 provisional squad to face Liberia and Tunisia in the final group stage matches of 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers to be played next month.

The Brave Warriors will play both games away. Liberia will host Namibia in Monrovia at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex on 09 October at 16H00. The Namibian senior men’s national team will then play Tunisia in the last qualifier in Tunisia, on Monday, 13 October 2025 at the Hammadi Agrebi Stadium.The final match of the qualifying journey will be played at 13h00.

The top group runners-up in the African qualifiers will have a chance to compete for a coveted spot at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.In addition to the nine group winners who will qualify automatically, the four best runners-up will get the opportunity to play in a mini-tournament, with the winner advancing to an intercontinental playoff.

With Tunisia earning direct qualification, Namibia will be hoping to head to the playoffs.
