14 August 2025 – Brave Warriors Head Coach,Collin Benjamin has named a 31- preliminary squad for next month’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers against Malawi and Sao Tome Principle.  Benjamins’ charges face the Malawian side in Francistown,Botswana , on 5 September and then they host Islanders, Sao Tome Principle at the same venue on the 9 September. The final 23-member squad will be announced in the upcoming weeks. NFA & the Brave Warriors World Cup Campaign Committee will communicate the travelling information for the supporters who wish to travel to Botswana to rally behind the team.

The Brave Warriors World Cup Campaign Committee chairperson Tim Ekandjo announced plans for a fundraising event to support the national team ahead of their final two home matches in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
