The Brave Gladiators head coach, Lucky Kakuva, has announced his squad as preparations begin for a busy period on the international calendar, with Namibia set to face Botswana in two friendly matches before turning their attention to the Olympic Qualifiers against Angola.
The squad will begin training on Saturday, 19 September 2026, with the training camp providing the technical team with an opportunity to assess the players, build team cohesion and fine-tune preparations ahead of the upcoming fixtures.
The COSAFA Champs will face Botswana on 26 and 30 September 2026 in Gaborone, with the two friendly encounters serving as important tests as the team builds towards the competitive Olympic Qualifiers.
Following the Botswana fixtures, the Brave Gladiators will turn their attention to Angola in the Olympic Qualifiers, with the two matches scheduled for 9 and 12 October 2026 in Luanda, with both matches kicking off at 15:00.
The Olympic Qualifiers carry added significance as Namibia continues its pursuit of a maiden appearance at the Olympic Games. The upcoming fixtures will provide the Brave Gladiators with an opportunity to test themselves against strong opposition while continuing preparations for the crucial qualification campaign.
