The AmaZulu player and captain as well acknowledged the difficult weather conditions, noting that they differ significantly from what the team is accustomed to back home. However, he made it clear that the squad remains focused and determined.

“The weather conditions are not ideal and are very different from our climate back home, but we are professionals. We will not use that as an excuse. These are the conditions we have been given, and we will make the best of them,” he added.

Hanamub also highlighted the squad’s composition, describing it as a healthy blend of experienced players and emerging talent. With several new call-ups in the team, the upcoming match presents an opportunity for new players to make their mark on the international stage.

He further stressed the responsibility of senior players to guide and support the newcomers, ensuring they adapt quickly and contribute positively to the team’s objectives.

“Our duty as senior players is to help them grow, to support them, and to make sure they continue doing the right things on and off the pitch.”

The Brave Warriors are expected to face a fast and competitive opponent, providing a strong test Benjamin’s squad. Hanamub welcomed the challenge, noting that such matches are essential for development and growth.
