The campaign originally aimed to raise an amount of N$8 480 000 to cover expenses such
as players bonuses, appearance fees and preparation fees. Given the current status quo,
the Committee decided to gear these funds towards the teams’ winning bonuses for the next
two games.
The team currently has standing agreements with the NFA as far as appearance fees,
draws and winning bonuses are concerned. We have thus taken a decision to invest the
N$1 120 673 towards additional winning bonuses for the players and the technical team for
the next two games. Every player will receive an extra N$15 000 while the Technical team
will each receive an extra N$10 000 as a winning bonus in addition to their contractual
benefits.
We believe that incentivizing the players for the next two games is crucial. We want
to bag the 6 points vs Malawi and Sao Tome and thereafter intensify the campaign for the
last two away games.
