THE NFA Introductory Coaching Course currently underway at the Etoshapoort Junior Secondary school learning centre in Outjo started on Sunday under the experienced guidance of NFA and CAF accredited instructors, Brian Isaacs and Eveline Noreses
The NFA endorsed introductory coaching course forms part of the associationโs strategic goal which outlines the increase of coaches at grassroots level as one of its key objectives.The five day course will introduce the prospective coaches to various issues of coaching development such as the NFA coaching system, coaching education and football philosophy.
“We want to see everyone seated here coaching in the top tier leagues after some time, this qualification should not go collect dust, go further and proceed with the next one until you get to the CAF C Licence” said Mr Johnny Ansino ,Outjo Constituency Councilor while giving the welcoming remarks.
Seth Uakatirapi a coach for the Kunene NAMPOL team emphasised on the importance of the coaching course.
“Coaching a second division team without the proper information or documentation is difficult,I hope the coaching course will equip us with the necessary skills and guidance we need”
