28 January 2026 – The Namibian FUTSAL senior men’s national team, the Brave Five are ready to take on Kenya in the second leg of the FUTSAL AFCON Qualifiers. Namibia played to a home advantage when they defeated Kenya 8-4 at the MTC Dome in Swakopmund last week Friday.

“We had a good home game; the team blended well together in todays match we prepared three alternatives of playing incase we couldn’t stick to the main ideas we did at the training sessions.Overall the team looks great and no injuries have been reported, Kenya is playing at home and it will be exciting to see what tactical approach they will use. Said head coach Marcus Antunes

He added that the focus is reaching the FUTSAL AFCON tournament that will be staged in Morocco in April.

“ The ulitimate prize is getting to Morrocco and doing well in the group stages, we want to qualify and winning the match today is important”

Kenya will host Namibia at the Kasarani Indoor Arena at 15:00 ( 28 January ), the match will be streamed live on the Kenya Federation Facebook page.

The winner between Namibia/Kenya will face Lybia in the second round of qualifiers.
