Charles Hambira replaces Denzil Haoseb in central defence in two of the changes to the starting lineup for the Tafel Lager Brave Warriors clash against Zimbabwe on Sunday afternoon, 14h00, at the 2021 Cosafa Cup.
Another replacement is that of Alfeus Handura whose place is taken by Dynamo Fredericks in midfield.
Coach Bobby Samaria and his team is focused on making it count against Zimbabwe as they target three points and a possible place in the semifinals.
Zimbabwe are on two points and have to win too to remain relevant in the competition, which makes the game more intriguing.
” It’s all about today and what we do in the match today. We can make things easy for ourselves or still go into the final two games with so much to do. We are being chased and we need to keep it that way. We can’t allow Zimbabwe to lead and we then chase” states Samaria.
Namibia are in Group B and after today’s clash against Zimbabwe will have back to back games against Malawi and then Mozambique on 13 and 14 July to complete group action.
Only the top two sides from the group will advance to the semifinals of the 2021 Cosafa Cup.
