BA meets Civics in NFA Cup


The Leo NFA Cup semi-finals matches will see double-chasers Black Africa entertaining Civics and Eleven Arrows taking on Orlando Pirates.

The matches to be played on May 7 at the Windhoek’s Independence Stadium where revealed on Tuesday morning at Soccer House after a draw was conducted following the end of the quarterfinals matches last weekend.

The matches will be played as from 14h00 with Eleven Arrows taking on Pirates and two hours later at 16h00, Civics clashing with Black Africa at the same venue.
The four teams will be presented with their playing gear by the sponsors during the week prior to match day.

The lucrative NFA Cup will see the winners walking away N$ 600 000 richer, while the losing finals will receive N$ 250 000, with the two losing semi-finalist to each receive a cool N$ 100 000.

Eleven Arrows midfielder Veno Namolo lead the top goal-scoring chart with eight goals and is closely followed by the Black Africa’s quartet of Jerome Louis on four goals, Rudi Louw, Roger Katjiteo and Bradley Wermann each on three goals.

The top goal-scorer will receive N$ 25 000 at the competition while the Player of the Series also receives the same amount of money.
