Brave Gladiators star woman Zenatha Coleman scored four goals as Namibia crushed Mauritius by 8-0 in their final Group B match played at Gelvandale Stadium in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on Tuesday.
With nothing to play for but pride, Uerikondjera Kasaona coached Gladiators recorded their biggest win at the championship and opened the floodgates through Zenatha Coleman on three minutes and the second goal came on 23 minutes when Beverly Uueziua headed in a rebound.
Anna-Marie Shikusho then scored on 30 minutes, before Lorraine Jossop smashed in Namibia’s fourth on the stroke of halftime to make it 4-0 at the break.
Woman of the match Coleman scored her second goal just after the resumption and then made it 6-0 and then 7-0 before Defender Lovisa Mulunga made it 8-0 on 87 minutes.
Namibia finished the group third behind leaders Zambia and runners-up Botswana, who played out to a goalless (0-0) draw in the other Group B match.
