The Brave Warriors were on Thursday night drawn in Group A of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers that will commence in October with the preliminary round.
Namibia are alongside Mali, Guinea, and the winner between Liberia and Chad who will play preliminary matches that will involve eight teams determined by their last International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) rankings.
The Brave Warriors just returned from the 2019 AFCON finals in Egypt finishing bottom of Group D that involved Morocco, South Africa and Ivory Coast. They will be looking at making back to back appearance at the continental showpiece.
Host Cameroon are guaranteed a place in the biennial competition, they will feature in the qualifiers and have been drawn in Group F alongside Cape Verde, Mozambique and Rwanda.
The 48 teams that will compete in the 2021 Afcon qualifiers will be divided into 12 groups of four teams each and the top two sides from each group will earn a ticket to the continental showpiece in Cameroon.
