Benson Shilongo is the only change to the Brave Warriors lineup as they take on rivals South Africa on Friday night at the Al Salam Stadium in Group D of the African Cup of Nations Finals.
Namibian opened thier AFCON campaign with a late narow 1-0 defeat to Morrocco and coach Ricardo Mannetti has made only one change to lineup that sees Egypt-based Shilongo replace Absalom Iimbondi in attack.
South Africa too lost 1-0 in their opening game against Ivory Coast and players familiarity will make for some interesting Cosafa derby at the AFCON finals.
The last time the two sides met the AFCON was in 1998, at the same stage and South Africa won 4-1 with current Warriors coach Mannetti in midfield.
The duels between the two has been explosive over the years and indeed momerable and the stage is set for another game to remember, under the floodlights of the Al Salam Stadium in Cairo, 22h00.
Both sides are looking for the much important three points to get their campaign back on track and importantly for Namibia, they seek their first ever AFCON finals win after seven misses thus far in three editions.
Here is the lineup against South Africa: Kazapua, Hanamub, Haoseb, Nyambe, Horaeb, Hotto, Starke, Ketjijere, Shitembi, Shalulile and Shilongo.
