Mannetti names team to face Morocco

Absalom Iimbondi will lead the line for the Brave Warriors in their opening match against Morrocco at the 32nd African Cup of Nations Finals.

Coach Ricardo Mannetti has named his starting lineup for the match and it will see Loydt Kazapua start in goal ahead of Max Mbaeva and Ratanda Mbazuvara.

Ryan Nyambe will be making his second start for the Brave Warriors in central defence together with Denzil Haoseb, while Riaan Hanamub continues at left back and Larry Horaeb starts at the right.

Captain Ronald Ketjijere and Manfred Starke are in central midfield while Petrus Shitembi and Deon Hotto will interchange on the wings.

Peter Shalulile is joined in attack by Tigers captain Absalom Iimbondi who is preferred in that advanced position due to his quick feet ability.

Willy Stephanus, with a thigh injury, has not fully recovered but will still made an impact during the tournament.

Here is the lineup against Morrocco: Kazapua, Hanamub, Haoseb, Nyambe, Horaeb, Hotto, Starke, Ketjijere, Shitembi, Shalulile and Iimbondi.
