The Brave Warriors journey for the 2019 African Nations Cup gains momentum with coach Ricardo Mannetti announcing players and plans for a training camp to be held in Dubai from 3 June.
After much speculation on the team, Brave Warriors Coach Ricardo Mannetti on Thursday morning announced 17 players for the 2019 AFCON training squad while players to feature at Cosafa Cup will also be considered to be considered to for 28 players.
Detailing how they got here coach Mannetti revealed that the team will be start training in Pretoria at the High Performance Center starting Monday, 27 May, and will then be joined, depending on how the team progress, 11 players from the Brave Warriors at Cosafa Cup, for a camp in Dubai.
The team will play a friendly match against Ghana on 9 June and another friendly is still to be confirmed.
Players will be reduced to the AFCON Finals tournament 23 players by 18 June when the team jets into Cairo, thier base for the finals.
The Brave Warriors are in Group D at the 32nd Afcon finals to be hosted by Egypt and will play Morocco on June 23 before taking on South Africa on June 28, both at Al Salam Stadium. They will play their final group game against Ivory Coast on 1 July at Cairo International Stadium.
The following players will go to High Performance Centre in Pretoria as of Monday, 27 May.
